Coast GasLink camp has opportunity for Vanderhoof
VANDERHOOF – With the blessing of the Agricultural Land Commission, work is underway west of the Vanderhoof Airport to accommodate a Coast GasLink camp this summer.
In the meantime, the District of Vanderhoof is negotiating possibly legacies to come from that project.
“We’ve been told by many communities that have been involved in these projects. Certainly in the Northeast,” says Mayor Gerry Thiessen. “What are those things that would be of benefit to your community?”
While the District is still contemplating its options, the Vanderhoof Airport Development Society already has a list of things it would love to see turned over, such as the fencing that will secure the camp.
