Crews respond to “suspicious” fire on Milburn

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 1555 Milburn Avenue Monday morning. The fire is being considered suspicious and an investigation is ongoing.

Following the 8:18am call, first arriving crews found the Community Garden Building at the location was the structure on fire. The first engine was able to quickly control the fire and kept damage to the initial building, protecting exposures around it.

There is no estimated damage value yet due to the unique construction of the building. No injuries were reported.
