Drug busts lead to four arrests over the weekend

PRINCE GEORGE—Four people were arrested in a drug trafficking investigation over the weekend.

On Sunday, May 31, the Prince George RCMP executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants on the 500 block of Ewert St. and the 2700 block of Quince St.

Two 32-year-old males, a 28-year-old female, and a 21-year-old female were taken into custody during the investigation.

RCMP say that cocaine, fentanyl, and cash was seized along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. In addition, one of the male suspects was found in possession of cocaine and cash.

The arrested were later released pending further investigation and charge approval.
