Northern Health COVID-19 Clinic and Information Line changes hours
PRINCE GEORGE—Northern Health’s COVID-19 Clinic and Information Line will be changing its hours on June 4th.
A release by Northern Health says that the Clinic and Information Line’s hours will changed to Monday-Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends and statutory holidays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Northern Health does note that on weekends and statutory holidays, doctors and nurse practitioners will be available for only a portion of the time.
The service was launched in March to help ensure that Northern B.C. residents have access to information and health advice around COVID-19, as well as the option of virtual screenings by a nurse, physician, or nurse practitioner.
The Clinic and Information Line celebrated a milestone of surpassing 12,000 calls from Northern B.C. residents in May.
