Playgrounds, park washrooms and fenced dog parks re-open
PRINCE GEORGE—Playgrounds, park washrooms, and fenced dog parks are re-opening.
The City of Prince George made the announcement this morning. School District 57 along with the City are re-opening their nearly 80 civic and school playgrounds, effective immediately.
Both the School District and the City are asking parents to ensure their children are abiding by Provincial Health Orders and recommendations such as, physical distancing, hand-washing and limiting gatherings to fewer than 50 people, when visiting playgrounds.
If children or parents are feeling sick, they are asked to stay away from playgrounds out of respect to those around them. The City is installing signs to remind the public of these measures at playgrounds.
