Pidherny survey online

PRINCE GEORGE- The City wants to hear from the public about the Pidherny Recreation Site. It is becoming an increasingly popular site for not only mountain biking, but also hikers and, in the winter, snowshoers and skiers. But the increased usage has the City concerned about access and parking for that location.

“The purpose is to make those improvements so we do keep everyone safe for all the users,” explains Dave Bradshaw, the Manager of Transportation and Technical Services.

The south entrance and parking lot was the source of some controversy in recent years and the City has since installed speed-control measures, which has helped. However, many of the comments in the survey are around parking, especially on the south side.
