Man wanted for sexual offences

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George Mounties are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for sexual related offences from an incident that occurred in 2017.

Cpl. Craig Douglass says the suspect is believed to be living on Vancouver Island.

“In August 2017, the Prince George RCMP entered into a sexual assault investigation involving an adult male and a female under the age of 18. The investigation led to the BC Prosecution Service approving the following Criminal Code charges against 38-year-old Christopher Lloyd Dixon: Sexual assault, sexual interference and sexual exploitation.”

He says last September an arrest warrant was issued for Dixon after he failed to appear in court.

Douglass says Dixon is believed to be living in the central part of Vancouver Island, possibly the Campbell River area including Black Creek, or Cedar. Dixon also has a history in Nanaimo and 150 Mile House.

Dixon is described as:

  • White
  • Five foot nine
  • 168 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
