John opts for BC Supreme Court jury in not guilty plea to alleged sex crimes

PRINCE GEORGE – Former BC cabinet minister Ed John pleaded not guilty to four counts of what’s been referred to as historic sex crimes.

The allegations date back to 1974 between the time of March 1st and September 15th.

John’s lawyer entered the plea by telephone on Wednesday during the arraignment hearing held at Prince George Provincial Court. The indigenous leader did not appear in court.
