Northern FanCon postponed

Jul 16, 2020 | 12:44 PM

PRINCE GEORGE—We are midway through July and fall is creeping up and that means fall events will begin making tough calls as the COVID-19 crisis continues.

Northern FanCon has made the decision to postpone their original event originally scheduled for September 25-27 to November 27-29, 2020.

In a release Northern FanCon explains that “despite the fact that British Columbia is doing extremely well in regards to managing COVID, crossing borders and crowd restrictions make it near impossible for guests and fans alike to be a part of a Sept.25-27 date.”

“We worked unbelievably hard to save FanCon in 2019 and with your support, we were able to do the impossible and had big plans for FanCon 2020. We realize this has been a complicated time for everyone and we cannot tell you how much it means for you all to stand by us while we adapt to make sure Northern FanCon continues to be strong in the years to come.”—Release by Northern FanCon

Although there has been a date change to the original event, Northern FanCon will be hosting a virtual event during their original event dates (Sept.25-27). More information on the virtual event will be released at a later date.
