It’s been a spring & summer of uncertainty for many in the sports community.

For Prince George Minor Hockey, there were many questions about when they would be able to return to the ice and now that ice is back in and kids are officially skating, the Association couldn’t be happier.

“It’s great to see kids pull up in their gear and they look really excited,” stated PGMHA President Glynis Vennberg.

“It was exciting. It was nice to be back on,” added Steve O’Rourke, Director of Hockey Operations.

Prior to Prince George Minor Hockey’s return to the ice, they held their AGM on August 10.

There were a variety of topics discussed at the AGM, which featured more than 100 people virtually in attendance.

When it comes to a budget for the 2020-2021 season, it is a bit trickier with everything surrounding Covid-19, but Prince George Minor Hockey is going to start the year with a budget which they set back in February.
