Tim Hortons in College Heights temporarily closed following case of COVID-19

PRINCE GEORGE – A Tim Hortons in Prince George, located at 5808 Southridge Avenue, is temporarily closed after a team member tested positive for COVID-19.

Tim Hortons Communications confirmed the event, which occurred on November 22nd at the College Heights location.

According to the statement, the team member’s last shift was on November 16th.

Both the team member and those who worked with them are now self-isolating for 14 days and will be supported through Tim Hortons corporate and restaurant owner COVID-19 compensation fund to provide for any lost wages.

“We wish them well and look forward to seeing all team members once their self-isolation is complete,” said the company in its statement.

Following public health guidelines, the restaurant has been closed for cleaning and sanitization.

According to the company, the location is expected to re-open their drive-thru operations on Dec. 1st and full restaurant operations on Dec. 3rd.
