PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George RCMP is investigating its fourth homicide of this year.

This following a targeted attack early yesterday (April 22) morning at a home on the 900 block of Carney Street.

Police believe there is no risk to the public and are asking for dash cam video of anyone who was driving in the area of 10th Avenue and Carney that morning from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. to call police at (250)561-3300.

RCMP are familiar with the residence as it was the subject of a search warrant for suspected drug offences last month.

Police were informed that the unnamed victim was at the hospital with traumatic injuries shortly after 3:30 a.m. yesterday and did not survive.

Yesterday’s homicide follows another homicide on April 10 on PG Pulpmill Road and another two in January – on New Year’s Day on the 2800 block of 15th Avenue and on January 28th on the 8200 block of Domano Boulevard.
