Gas tracking website reports highest average fuel cost ever recorded

NORTHERN BC- The cost of fueling up at the pumps continues to hike. Fuel price tracking website GasBuddy.com says the national average retail fuel price hit 151.3 cents per litre this morning (Friday).

That’s the highest average price on record, according to the website. BC drivers are among the hardest hit with prices at the pumps in Prince George ranging from 153.3 to 154.9 cents per litre.

A major contributor is the cost of crude oil, which has reached an eight-year high.
