Man facing string of charges after found in possession of loaded firearm

PRINCE GEORGE — A man is facing a raft of charges after he was found in possession of a firearm.

Prince George RCMP say Brandhon Leslie Dargatz was arrested the evening of May 21 near 20th Avenue and Tamarack Street because he had a warrant out for his arrest.

Police say Dargatz fled when approached by police but was arrested a short time later.

A search of his belongings yielded a loaded gun, even though he is under a lifetime firearms ban.
