BC Hotels taking steps toward eco-friendly practices

PRINCE GEORGE – The B-C Hotel Association is taking significant strides toward promoting eco-friendly practices in the hospitality sector within the province. The association aims to enhance its commitment to environmentally responsible tourism practices through partnerships and adopting a new sustainability playbook.

With the introduction of the sustainability playbook, hotel operators will receive valuable advice on operating their establishments more efficiently, thereby reducing waste and energy consumption.

The B-C Hotel Association has partnered with the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance to support its efforts further. This collaboration enables the association to access research findings and utilize various tools to foster the best practices for a more environmentally friendly hospitality sector.
