Wildfire danger prompts Artemis Gold to remove all non-essential staff from its Blackwater project

VANDERHOOF — The wildfire situation has prompted Artemis Gold to remove all of its non- essential personnel and contractors from its Blackwater Mine site located about 160 kilometres southwest of Prince George.

The move was made necessary due to an area wildfire evacuation order, a region that includes the Blackwater Mine.

Company CEO Steven Dean says the safety and wellbeing of its employees and contractors is always its top priority.

Artemis adds that the Company has taken the necessary precautions to safeguard the asset and essential staff remain on site.
