EV fast-charging hub in northern B.C.

PRINCE GEORGE – BC Hydro has opened its first EV fast-charging hub in northern B.C., with space for 16 vehicles and high-powered chargers to support growing EV adoption.

The hub, situated at the College of New Caledonia parking lot, features advanced 350-kilowatt and 180-kilowatt chargers capable of power-sharing to accommodate multiple vehicles.

As BC Hydro expands its charging network, it aims to double the number of charging ports across B.C. by 2026, supporting the province’s rapid shift to electric vehicles.
