PRINCE GEORGE – Health professionals stress the importance of keeping your immunization records for several reasons. If you know where to look, finding those records can be quite simple. In this week’s “To Your Health,” CKPG News offers further insights on how to track your health records.

Vaccinations, often referred to as immunizations, serve to protect people of all ages. Residents of BC can get started by visiting the Health Gateway website, which provides useful information and resources for accessing vaccination records.

If you discover that your immunization records are incomplete and you possess a paper record, you can easily submit it through the website. Additionally, some countries may require proof of certain vaccines when you travel.

Having your immunization records on hand can help prevent unnecessary repeat vaccinations or missed doses.
