Free transit for cyclists during GoByBike week

PRINCE GEORGE — The City of Prince George and BC Transit have announced free transit for cyclists during GoByBike week.

GoByBike Week is from Saturday, May 31 to Friday, June 6, 2025. To qualify for free transit, customers taking part in GoByBike Week must use the bus bike racks or show their bike helmet when boarding the bus.

BC Transit says “all conventional BC Transit buses are equipped with bike racks on the front of the bus, making it easier for cyclists to combine two forms of sustainable transportation when travelling longer distances – or when the weather changes throughout the day and makes cycling less desirable than it was first thing in the morning.”
