UNBC Timberwolves drop 3-1 decision to UFV

PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves men’s soccer team were beaten by the visiting UFV Cascades 3-1 Friday at Masich Place Stadium.

With the loss, UNBC’s record fell to 3-5-2 while the UFV Cascades improved to 5-1-2.

Mateo Brazinha struck twice for the visitors, while Michael Beecroft added the other. The Timberwolves’ lone tally came from Mark Talisuna.

The teams meet again Saturday at noon at Masich Place Stadium.
