From the Northern Sports Centre to the Southern Hemisphere, local youth tackle the world stage
PRINCE GEORGE – Rugby is on the rise, and nowhere is that growth more evident than here in Prince George. This year, two local athletes have been selected to join the Global Youth Sevens, a significant milestone that highlights the surge in youth participation in northern BC.
The Northern Sports Centre has become one of the places where two young rugby players have developed their skills and tested themselves on the international stage.
Keira Gordon has been selected to join other young aspiring rugby players in New Zealand next month.
