PRINCE GEORGE – For the second year, the University of Northern BC is hosting a TEDx event.
Last year, the theme looked at dispelling myths looking back at the past 150 years. This year, the theme will be the next 150 years. Whether it is the future of technology or the future in politics, anything is up for grabs.
Organizers will choose ten speakers, half from UNBC and the other half from the community at large.
“TEDx UNBC was such a hit last year,” says Leah Labarrere, President of TEDx UNBC. “I am incredibly honoured and excited to be able to bring it back for an even more inspiring and thought-provoking event, especially in partnership with UNBC.”
Aspiring speakers have until June 9th to apply online for the September 29th event.
