By-election Will Be Held For CRD Electoral Area F Director

WILLIAMS LAKE – A by-election will be held in the spring for the Electoral Area F Director in the Cariboo Regional District. Electoral Area F Director-Elect, Conrad Turcotte was unable to take his oath of office by the December 7th deadline following the October 20th election. The CRD says it was due to a personal matter. The by-election is tentatively scheduled for March 30, 2019, but the CRD will confirm following their January 18th board meeting. Former Area F Director, Joan Sorley will hold the position until the by-election. Electoral Area F consists of the area around 150 Mile House, Likely and Horsefly.
