Vehicle fire near River Road

Prince George – Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle fire around 1:30 this afternoon just off of River Road.

When emergency crews arrived they saw a van that was fully involved. The plume of black smoke coming from the vehicle could be seen from the downtown core.

The fire was quickly extinguished by the fire crews. No word yet on the cause of the fire or if anyone was hurt.
