PRINCE GEORGE — Due to the on-going heavy snowfall, City crews are in full operation this morning, clearing all priority routes throughout the city. Crews will continue to clear priority routes through the weekend.
VANDERHOOF-The Ministry of Environment in collaboration with Northern Health has issued an Air Quality Advisory for Vanderhoof because of high concentrations of fine particulate matter.This advisory is in effect until further notice.

PRINCE GEORGE- Prince George has 670 kilometres of roads within city limits, so it's going to take some time before all are cleared of snow and ice. Crews have been working around the clock for nearly two weeks. They have moved on to priority three routes and windrows.

PRINCE GEORGE - Mother Nature is continuing to play havoc with the region. Environment Canada says a system packed with moisture from the Pacific Ocean will sweep down through the Interior today. It will combine with a frigid Arctic airmass already in place to produce snow and freezing rain.
QUESNEL - Quesnel RCMP located a 74-year-old man yesterday afternoon. Allegedly, the man was attempting to get to his cabin in the late evening on Wednesday, along an unplowed driveway in the Baker Creek area.

PRINCE GEORGE — Winterfest is back in Prince George this weekend. There are a number of things on the agenda for the Sunday event, including an impressive display of artwork made out of snow and ice. Peter Vogelaar is one of the artists visiting this weekend and is already hard at work.
KITIMAT — Kitimat RCMP and Search and Rescue responded to a call at 5:45 pm yesterday regarding two stranded snow bikers. They were found in an extremely rough area of Claque Mountain. The two were transported to the Service Centre. No injuries were reported.
