Kings can’t solve Silverbacks

Goals were at a premium Saturday night at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena as the Prince George Spruce Kings welcomed the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Both goaltenders were on their game which made it difficult for both clubs to find the back of the net.

The lone goal of the game would come with the man advantage for Salmon Arm as Hunter Sansbury would get one past Jett Alexander to lift the Silverbacks to a 1-0 win.

Alexander was superb in the contest for the Kings, stopping 29 of 30 shots faced.

The loss drops the King’s record to 4-6-2-1 on the season.
