Timberwolves unable to contain high octane Spartans

It was a tough night on the pitch for the UNBC Timberwolves women’s soccer team Friday night at Masich.

They dropped a 5-2 decision to the Trinity Western Spartans Friday night at Masich Place.

The good news for the Timberwolves is they will have a chance to bounce back on Sunday when they play host to UFV.

Kick-off is at noon.

The men’s team, meanwhile played to a 1-1 tie with TWU in Langley Friday night.

The two clubs will meet again on Saturday at 7:15 p.m.
