Two male suspects in wale death

RCMP want help identifying suspects in connection to death last week

PRINCE GEORGE–RCMP are looking to identify two people of interest in connection to a fight that led to a death last week.

The men are persons of interest in relation to the death of 35-year-old Gregory Wale who RCMP say was involved in a fight on the night of Friday, October 4th near 20th Ave. and Redwood Drive. “This death was both tragic and unnecessary” says Cpl. Craig Douglass, spokesperson for the Prince George RCMP. “Our hope is that the identification of these two men will further the investigation and get us closer to providing Gregory Wale’s family with some closure.”

The first person of interest is described as:

  • First Nations male
  • Approx. 30-years-old
  • Short dark hair with a scruffy mustache and beard

The second person of interest can be described as:

  • First Nations male
  • Approx. 25-years-old
  • Dark hair with stubble on his face

Wale was taken to hospital with serious injuries the night of the incident, however, left before receiving medical attention. He was later found dead at his home on October 5th, the day after the altercation.
