Spruce Kings complete trade with Capitals

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings were busy Thursday (June 27).

The team announced they swung a deal with the Cowichan Valley Capitals which brings forward Brock Cummings (’05) and defenseman Eddie Romano (’04) to the northern capital in exchange for forward Luca Primerano (’06) and future considerations.

Cummings is a 6’2, 194 pound centre who scored 16 goals and added 18 assists in 54 games last season.

Romano hails from Farmington, New York and is 6’0, 194 pounds and had three goals and four assists in 46 games last season.

Primerano played in 100 games for the Spruce Kings between the regular season and playoffs and tallied 17 goals and added 31 assists for 48 points.
