Police incident near Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: RCMP say the incident is over and traffic is no longer being diverted. Police say the police incident was in relation to the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant.

No other information has been released,

Earlier: A police incident has RCMP redirecting northbound traffic on the Hart Highway onto Northwood Pulpmill Road.

The incident began at around 9 a.m. and RCMP say the Emergency Response Team is on scene, noting the public is not at risk.
