One lemonade stand is hosted by the Prince George Community Foundation in partnership with the Prince George Chamber of Commerce.

“We share office with the Chamber of Commerce and the Prince George Community Foundation have participated in Big Squeeze for a number of years. Of course, we want to do it again because it’s a great event supporting Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northern BC So we were just chatting and here we are now,” explains Kathleen Angelski with the PG Community Foundation.

Theirs is one of a dozen organizations and restaurants partaking in this home-grown event. The Community Foundation has stepped it up a notch.

“We are. So the Prince George Community Foundation is matching all donations that we received today, up to $1,000. So the impact goes even farther.

For Big Brothers, Big Sisters.” For Big Brothers Big Sisters, this is a significant fundraiser. “It’s important because currently we have a small team, so we are doing a small amount of fundraisers. So this is a big portion of what we do,” says Styan.
