The two men wanted in connection to the homicide of 35-year-old Gregory Gareth Wale have turned themselves in to police. Wale was found dead in his apartment after being in an altercation where he suffered serious injuries and failed to seek medical attention thereafter.

“Election Day” at Duchess

Students at Duchess Park had their shot at casting their vote in a mock election at the school. The student-organized election comes off the heels of an all-candidates forum that was held at the school last week. Students say they appreciate learning how to go through the steps of voting because schools don’t teach them how.

RCMP are reminding hunters and the public to not leave their rifles, or hunting gear in their cars overnight. This after a recent increase in thefts from cars that saw rifles and hunting equipment stolen.
